Opus Returns & Exchanges
Connect Opus to the rest of your returns workflow
Keep Opus simple for merchants while passing useful return and exchange signals to the tools their teams already use.
Integration status
Opus supports the workflows documented below. A tool appearing on this page does not imply a marketplace partnership, approval, or endorsement. Where a public listing is still under review, we say so.
Shopify Flow
Use Opus triggers to tag orders, route requests, and notify staff when a customer submits a return, exchange, or replacement request.
Three Opus workflows are approved and live in Shopify's public Flow Template Library. Start with a ready-made workflow instead of building it from scratch:
Gorgias support workflows
Merchants can configure an authenticated Gorgias HTTP integration to look up Opus request status inside their support workflow. Opus does not receive or store Gorgias credentials. The public Gorgias App Store listing has not been approved yet.
Theme and page builders
Opus uses a Shopify theme app extension, so merchants can add a return portal entry point without pasting application code. The PageFly guide documents the safe setup path and does not imply a PageFly partnership.
Partner Returns API
Approved partners can test a read-only, merchant-authorized feed of structured return and exchange events. It excludes customer names, emails, addresses, payment data, free-text notes, and uploaded evidence.
Store credit and complementary apps
Opus can record store credit as an approved return outcome. Credit issuance remains in Shopify or the merchant's chosen store-credit app. Compatibility tests with independent apps are in progress; no automatic integration should be assumed yet.
Apparel sizing and returns
Mitasu for Apparel completed a development-store compatibility test with Opus. Mitasu helps stores improve product information before a purchase, while Opus structures return and exchange requests after a purchase. Mitasu published a practical guide to using both workflows; this tested compatibility does not make either app responsible for the other app's operation or support.
Build or test a workflow
App developers can propose one specific development-store test at johnson@opusreturns.com. Do not send merchant API keys or customer data by email.
Merchants can also install Opus free from Shopify.
