Export request data
Create and download CSV exports for operations, analysis, and merchant recordkeeping.
Create an export
Open Export data
Choose the request history export and create the job. Large files are processed in the background.
Wait for Ready
Refresh the page if the export is still Pending. A failed job shows an error rather than an empty download.
Select Download CSV
The file includes request, order, item, reason, outcome, value, status, and linked Shopify-resource fields supported by the export.
Handle exported data safely
- Store files only where authorized staff can access them.
- Do not upload customer-level exports to public spreadsheets or AI tools without appropriate authorization.
- Delete local copies when the business purpose is complete.
- Use Shopify and Opus privacy-request workflows for formal customer data requests rather than a general operations export.
